Did you know that any coin can offer you insight into life?

That is why there are two sides to a coin.

Let me explain. Some time ago a situation happened in my life. It was a very tough situation and has caused upset to many. After much consideration and questioning I realize that this whole situation was caused by an assumption. I know this was an assumption by viewing the reactions of others involved in the situation.

This has caused me to believe that the two side of the coin are assumptions and facts. As you know assumptions are created when you assume why someone did some thing or why something happened. Facts are acquired by asking a question when you are concerned over what you perceive.

Can you imagine how much more enjoyable life would be if we had the courage to ask a few questions when we got our first perception of something being wrong? Can you imagine how much better you would feel?

What can you do today that will get you to look at situations in a more measured way?

Have you taken action on the miracle within you?

You may be asking, what is this miracle within you?

The miracle within you is your understanding of what motivates you. It is the fire within that you speak about with passion. It is the one thing that you do that excites you and keeps you motivated.

What is that miracle for you?

When are you going to take action on it, consistently?

Are you very protective of your ‘stuff’?

Do you believe that your possessions and belongings are all that you need?

If you said ‘yes’ to either of those questions I want to address this issue with this blog. Your greatest possessions or riches are your abilities, your talents and your gifts! When you start to live your life based on this, the possibilities for you are endless. You will live a much more relaxed life, being that you do not have to worry about the loss of your stuff. Oscar Wilde (Irish Poet, Novelist, 1854-1900) said it best; “Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.”

When are you going to start to live your life based on the real riches in your life?

Are you able to keep calm when another person is out of control?

Do you wish at times you were able to keep your emotions in-check?

I am a very passionate person and in the past number of months I’ve been in circumstances when it could have ended up like a nuclear explosion. The key for me was that I realized it would have done no one any good to show my fiery side. All that would have resulted would have been a battle of words, to no good result. Thankfully I kept my emotions controlled.

So how do you keep in control of your emotions?

I believe you need to look at the big picture and realize how rude or discourteous actions can have a great impact. By getting this understanding you will be more aware of events and your emotions. So how do you get this understanding and awareness?

You need to understand what is important to you. You need to clarify and itemize your inner values. The reason for doing that is because once you understand your inner values and put them into action, you are living your life based on what is important to you by considering the big picture.

So when can you take action to get that understanding of your values?
